Farmers Market Vendors
FAQ
How do I become a vendor at the Cranberry Twp. Farmers Market?
- Vendor Application Form
- Vendor Agreement Form
- Payment for Booth Fee will be required after your application is approved. (payment instructions will be provided once contacted by the market manager)
- All of the required documents listed above PLUS…
- Permit from Cranberry Twp. to sell alcohol on property submitted (7) days prior to first start date at the market
- Certificate of Liability insurance for up to $1,000,000 listing Cranberry Twp. as an additional insured.
Do I need insurance to be a vendor at the Market?
Obtaining a Certificate of Liability insurance is not required of market vendors unless you are selling alcohol. We encourage all vendors participating in the market to obtain their own liability insurance. If you do not obtain a certificate of liability insurance, there is a $25 additional fee as the PNRC takes on the additional risk.
For vendors that currently have liability or business insurance, or those opting to obtain new insurance for the 2021 season to have the $25 fee waived, we ask that you list the Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber as an additional insured for up to $1,000,000 in coverage.
What kind of vendors do you accept at the Market?
We accept all vendors! However, prioritize the following types of vendors:
- Farms (fresh produce, meat, dairy, etc.)
- Desserts and Baked Goods
- Foods foraged by the producer (honey, jams/preserves, sauces, cheese, eggs, etc.)
- Tea/Coffee
- Hand-made artisan goods (jewelry, wood crafts, soaps, candles, etc.)
We limit the amount of vendors in certain categories such as artisans selling jewelry, crafts, or vendors strictly wanting a booth to advertise their services.
What COVID Guidelines are in place?
The Cranberry Twp. Farmers Market follows the PA Department of Agriculture COVID guidelines as well as any rules put into place by the state of Pennsylvania or Butler County. COVID Guidelines change frequently, and we will do our best to update the vendors on any new updates that would affect the market.
– Wash hands frequently and for 20 seconds at a time
– Provide hand sanitizer at booths for customers
– Keep sanitization spray at booths and wipe booths down frequently

What happens if it rains?
The market is open rain or shine. The market will be shut down for inclement weather or if it is too dangerous to safely open the market. Vendors can personally choose to not attend the market if it is not officially cancelled, however refunds are not given if a vendor chooses to skip.
Are vendors required to bring a pop-up tent?
All vendors are required to bring their own 10×10 pop-up tent, weights to secure tent (gallon milk jugs filled with water are fine) and any other supplies needed.
Is electricity for my booth provided?
Electricity is available, but it is limited and given on a first come, first serve basis. There is an additional cost for electric which is $10.
What happens if I purchase a booth space and cannot make a certain day(s)?
Contact Annie Cairns to notify the market coordinators you will not be attending. We ask for as much advanced notice as possible.
Vendors do not receive partial refunds if they have to cancel or do not show up on any given Friday.
Where do you park your car after unloading?
All vendors are asked to unload everything they need for their booths and immediately relocate their vehicles to the BACK parking lot of the municipal center. Vendors can then return to their booth space and finish setting up.
What time can I begin setting up at the market?
- Vendors can begin arriving no earlier than 1:00pm and must be set up by 2:45pm and cannot conduct sales until 3:00pm.
- Vendors are to unload their products from their vehicles into their designated 10×10 space and immediately move their vehicles to ease the traffic of unloading.
- Vendor vehicles are not permitted in the market lot after 2:45pm and cannot be brought back into the market lot until 6:45pm to ensure the safety of pedestrians. Vendors arriving late must notify the market coordinator an hour in advance and may be placed at an alternate location.
Do you accept EBT/ SNAP Cards?
The market does not accept those forms of payment at this time. However, if you are a vendor who does accept EBT/SNAP, you are able to utilize this program and advertise this method of payment at your booth.
Are there bathrooms available on-site for vendor use?
Absolutely! The Cranberry Twp. Municipal Building is open throughout the duration of the market and holds restroom facilities available to both the vendors and public.
What kind of advertising do you do for the market?
